About our Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Wedding from the Bride:
Nelson and I are from Chicago and could not be happier with deciding to have a Cabo destination wedding. It was important to us that our closest family and friends partook in our love to travel and really enjoyed themselves. We hoped that our Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Wedding would be just as memorable for them as it was for us.
So when the time came to officially start researching we headed to Cabo. We love Mexico, but couldn’t decide what part we saw ourselves getting married in. Visiting about 4 other resorts, but nothing wowed us until we arrived at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. We fell in love with the area and instantly knew we were in the right place.
Our Venue
Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is superb from the moment you step foot on the property. The resort is adults only and the breathtaking views will not disappoint.
Leslie and Mariana, the wedding coordinators, went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. We hired Lisa Jaroscak, a wedding planner from Chicago, that works for Storybook Wedding & Events. Leslie was so easy to work with and allowed for all parties to stay informed.
We were looking for separate areas to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with an after-party spot on the property. The Barracuda Deck is a must at this resort. It’s in a more secluded area and watching the sunset across the ocean gives it such a romantic feel.
Our Wedding Day
Our Cabo wedding day was exactly as we envisioned it to be! 60 of our closest family and friends escaped the bone-chilling Chicago weather to join us for our special day.
The venue and scenery spoke volumes on their own, so with a touch of our personalities in the decor, a couple of floral accent pieces, and the right amount of lighting really pulled it all together. Flowers & Events Los Cabos was by far the quickest and easiest vendor to work with.
For our Ceremony, we found a cellist and pianist called Brooklyn Duo from New York. They are an extremely talented couple and play songs that all guests will recognize no matter what ages your guests are.
DJ Chris Mixx was an outstanding MC and DJ! He created a seamless flow from dinner to speeches, then dances, and set the mood for everyone’s night. Moreover, he made the entire song choice process a breeze and was able to read us very well.

To top it all off, Sara and Ramon are such gifted photographers with a stunning eye for capturing every special moment. They really made us feel comfortable and blended in so effortlessly throughout our day. They respectfully gained the attention of the bridal party to keep things moving. This allowed us to get every shot we wanted. It was a day we will cherish forever and can now relive through all of their fabulous work. Thank you!
