What a fun wedding this was! Sarah & Paul´s Todos Santos wedding was seriously incredible. The details, the beach, the villa…even a super adorable pup. Amazing. This wedding was just featured on Destination I do! View the feature here.
A few words from the bride:
Paul is from New Jersey and I am from California, so we quickly realized that no matter which coast we decided on, many guests would have to travel to celebrate our special day. We fell in love with Todos Santos, a village on the pacific coast of Baja California Sur, which lies very close to the Tropic of Cancer, and is one of Mexico’s Pueblo Magicos, or Magical villages. Todos emanates an almost mystical beauty with its blend of stark desert landscape butted up against the roaring pacific surf.
When we discovered the incredibly romantic Villa Santa Cruz, along with Matt and Jessica, the delightful owners and wedding coordinators, we knew we had found the perfect place to host our 65 guests to an unforgettable Baja beach front bash. The legendary Hotel California treated our guests to a delicious dinner provided by local farmers, fisherman and vendors. Long time Todos residents, Barb and Jan of Pueblo Magico, lovingly catered to my obsession with white flowers and gold accents while always allowing the beauty of our surroundings to shine through. And Sara Richardson Photography captured all of us bathed in the the most beautiful golden light we have ever seen.
Most importantly, our guests felt transported to another world. Between the charm of the villa, the roar of the Mariachi, the serendipity of the pair of pelicans that flew above us as we recited our vows and the non stop flow tequila – it was an unforgettable event.
