Cabo wedding at the Waldorf Astoria
Tyler and I live in Reno, NV and Cabo San Lucas has always been our favorite destination. We dated for 10 years before we got engaged and had visited Cabo together several times. When the time came to pick a destination, it was a no-brainer for us. We knew we wanted to have a Cabo Wedding. We took a trip to Cabo for New Years Eve a few weeks after getting engaged.
Tyler had found Suzanne Morel of Creative Destination Events on google on the last day of our trip. He immediately booked time with her to look at houses to rent out for our wedding. As Tyler was looking on google maps of homes in Cabo, he stumbled upon a cliff-side restaurant on the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo. That’s when we asked Suzanne about the Waldorf Astoria at Pedregal. Suzanne had nothing but amazing things to say about the location. We researched it more, and after a trip to scout out the location with family, we fell in love. We knew we were going to have our Cabo Wedding at the Waldorf Astoria.
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos
At the Waldorf Astoria at Pedregal, guests are greeted at the end of a long and luxurious tunnel. The entire resort is pristine, with raked sand gardens, infinity pools, and unbelievable service. The aspect that sold us the most was the restaurant El Farrallon. El Farrallon is a restaurant that wraps along the cliffs and above the ocean. It was the ideal spot for our reception and a long night of dancing next to the ocean, and not to mention some of the best food in Cabo!
Cabo Wedding Planner
From the moment we arrived in Cabo for our wedding, everything was amazing beyond belief. Creative Destination Events provided us with Jennifer Jimenez. Jennifer is the reason that our day turned out so flawless. She was organized, kind, and thoughtful of what would make our day perfect for us.
Cabo Wedding Photographer
When Sara and Ramon (our amazing Cabo Wedding photographers) arrived, I felt like we were all longtime friends. They made everyone feel so comfortable. I never felt bombarded to take a forced photo, but every moment they captured was so special. We ended up with so many pictures, including moments we don’t recall because of how quick the evening went by.
Cabo Wedding Flowers
Our florals were light pink flowers incorporated with succulents provided and designed by Cabo Floral Studio. Along with Cabo Linens, Things and More, everything was taken directly from my Pinterest board and made it a reality, but better!
Cabo Wedding Music
Cabo Strings played blissfully through our ceremony and cocktail hour and gave the evening such a cozy and romantic feel. After one of the most amazing meals of my life, we found ourselves on the dancefloor with DJ Gaston Montana. He played all of our favorites that brought us back to the prom dancefloor of high school, which is what we asked for.
We danced until 1am, but I felt like we could have danced the entire night. Having our wedding in Cabo was the best decision for us because it was stress free and everyone had the time of their lives!
