“Mason and I are both originally from Houston, TX but living in California. Our friends and family are scattered throughout the US so having a destination wedding in Mexico seemed like the easiest location, and who doesn’t love a beach vacation?! We both started doing a lot of internet research to decide on a city, and Cabo kept drifting to the top.

There are so many beautiful, luxurious resorts in Cabo, but a Destination Wedding Pueblo Bonito Sunset seemed to fit our needs best. We wanted a place that our guests could land in Cabo and get swept off to the resort. We wanted them to just enjoy and then not have to think about anything for a few days. That is exactly what Pueblo Bonito offered.
I travelled down to the resort ahead of time with my mom to meet with Marisol, the wedding coordinator manager. She showed us the possible locations for the ceremony and reception, and we got a feel for the resort. I knew immediately it was exactly what we were looking for! I was a little nervous at our first meeting with Marisol, because we have all heard horror stories of destination weddings and the lack of communication, but my nerves were completely put to rest after meeting with her.

After deciding on a date we were assigned our wedding coordinator Gabriela Nagai, and we were SO lucky! Gabi was so wonderful to work with. She was always quick to respond to questions or get us information prior to the wedding. When we arrived in Cabo for the actual wedding she took care of EVERYTHING. My #1 goal on the wedding day was to not worry about anything. I wanted both Mason and I to focus on time with friends and family, and all of the other details would just have to take care of themselves. Gabi was a constant presence throughout the day, even when I needed that last tequila before walking down the aisle! From the unbelievable floral arrangements to the ambience created at the reception, Gabi took my ideas and made them better than I could have dreamed!

After the venue, the second most important aspect for me was the Cabo Wedding photographer. Again, we both did a lot of internet research and I found myself getting to forwarded to Sara Richardson’s website multiple times. Her photos displayed everything I was looking for in my wedding photos: clean, simple, and full of love and joy. From the moment Sara and Ramon arrived I felt comfortable and yet directed. They made sure we were enjoying our day, and made sure to capture the beautiful details as well! Our photos came out so natural and pretty. They perfectly captured the joy we felt throughout the day.
Everything was perfect.
Between the venue, our coordinator, the flowers, a fantastic DJ who kept the partying going, and Sara, our wedding became exactly what we wished for, and we will forever be grateful for those who made it possible! Thank you Thank you!”
