Aaaaah a wedding at The Cape!
For those of you looking for a stunning oceanfront ceremony, The Cape, A Thompson Hotel is hard to beat.
Tie in said winning venue with a bridal gown to die for & a pair of Badgely Mischkas and you are SET! Gina and Eric were a wonderful couple to work with. I adored their floral arrangement on their arbor and how the table setting boards mimicked that same style.
This wedding was carefully curated and everything about it was beautiful.

Last, a few words from the bride on her BIG day:
“Our wedding planning experience was really easy, and fun. We always knew that we would get married in Cabo. Cabo has been a special place of mine for the past 20 plus years. When Eric and I first started dating, I took him to Cabo to show him my happy place. He was a bit skeptical at first, but quickly fell in love with Cabo as much as I had. When we got engaged, we instantly reached out to Karla and Cristina, as our friends Chris (who married us) and Sonja (Bridesmaid) were married in Cabo the year prior. They utilized Karla and Cristina and had a really great experience. We have a timeshare at Grand Solmar and initially thought we would get married there; however, Grand Solmar would not allow an outside wedding planner and they took over a week to get back to me on my initial inquiry. After giving Karla and Cristina vision of what we were looking for, we had proposals back within three days. We instantly fell in love with the Cape Hotel and booked it before seeing it in person and toured the Cape a month later. It was more beautiful in person, if that is possible. The venue, staff and chef far exceeded our expectations. Karla and Cristina coordinated vendor meetings during our trip in May. It was easy to pick out our photographer based on previous photos and our in person meeting and we could not be happier with all of our photos. Sara and her team captured our day perfectly. We initially had no intention of getting a video; however, after watching Angel’s sample video, we knew we had to have him be part of our day. With just two days of vendor meetings, we had everything picked out from the wedding reception dinner, flowers, tables and décor etc. Took another trip down in September with Eric’s son, Nick. He helped us pick out the rehearsal dinner food and pick the signature cocktail. Our tasting was thankfully moved up a day, as the tropical storm was moving in. Thankfully we did move it, as the storm prevented us from leaving the hotel for two days!
I was on a trip to Nashville when I tried on wedding dresses for the first time. My friend Sonja suggested I go to the Dress Theory in Nashville, as she got her dress from that store in Seattle. The dress I ended up buying was literally the first dress I tried on!
Our wedding was everything we imagined. It was stress free when we arrived in Cabo. I would say the hardest part of the planning was picking out our invitations, picking out our music and the seating charts. Oh, and packing down over 30 pounds of candy for our candy bar!”.
