What made you decide to have a Cabo Wedding at The Cape Hotel?
We found it on Instagram! We initially wanted to get married in Napa but I always had a dream of getting married near water. After looking around local places like Monterey or Half Moon Bay, we decided to do a smaller international Cabo wedding. Los Cabos was a 3-hour flight away and easily accessible by our friends and family.
Did your Cabo wedding have a theme?
I loved simplicity and cleanliness, so I think thematically it was spring + palms. I wanted a green & white bouquet rather than lots of colors and designs.
The bridesmaid’s dresses?
We chose wrap dresses so the bridesmaids can customize it however they like – they’re the same color but could be tied differently to show the personality of each of the bridesmaids.
What color scheme did you choose for your Wedding and why?
Green & white – simple & elegant.
What was your biggest splurge of the day?
Definitely the food and drinks. We think that food & drinks bring people together so we wanted to make sure we had a great selection of hors d’oeuvres, dinner, midnight snacks as well as an open bar. Second biggest splurge is probably the LED dance floor + smoke machine – groom insisted!
Please describe your favorite moments:
1. When my dad gave me away to the groom at the altar, but he totally forgot to shake the groom’s hand and I was giggling inside because I knew how nervous my dad was.
2. When the DJ came out and the dance floor lit up – looking around, I saw the shock on guests’ faces followed by excitement! We didn’t want to throw just a wedding – we wanted to throw the best after party as well
3. When the quesadilla/taco bar came out at 11PM – the smell was irresistible and the selection unparalleled.
If you could sum up your wedding in one sentence, how would you describe it?
The perfect party.
