Cabo Wedding – Angela & Dan - Wedding Photographer in Cabo

Angela & Dan´s Cabo wedding was intimate, serene and oh so incredible. I could not have imagined a prettier day. I am so honored that I got to be a part of Angela & Dan´s Cabo wedding. This wedding was also featured on Fab You Bliss!

A few words from the bride:

When Daniel proposed to me in an arroyo on the East Cape of Baja, just outside of San Jose Del Cabo, this wonderful place etched its way deeper into our hearts.

When we returned to Sydney from our magical trip, I began the research stage of our wedding planning. The more and more I saw in Australia, the more I realised it wasn’t the place I wanted to get married. So I sat Daniel down and asked him what he thought about getting married in Mexico. He offered a nervous giggle, at first thinking I was joking, but when he realised i was serious, he liked the idea, a lot.

Daniel’s family are based in North America, my family in Australia and our friends, scattered all over the world, so a destination wasn’t such a bad idea. Rather than make one family / group travel to our wedding, we thought, lets make them all travel!

So, the Mexican wedding research began. We remembered passing a venue, which was under construction when we were there, but from what we could see, it was lovely. The only problem was, we couldn’t remember what it was called. Finally, one morning after coffee, the memory of a sign promoting the new hotel came to mind, and that is when i remembered the name Vidasoul.

So, I contacted them, worked out an amazing deal, and after emailing back and forth, we tentatively locked it in. From there, I started looking at wedding blogs, and it just so happened that every time I loved an image, it was Sara’s photography, so I contacted her and after emailing with her, we locked her in too. Actually, this is how it worked with the rest of our vendors. Each time I loved a brides hair, or make up or flowers, it always came back to the same supplier. With Sara’s help and recommendations, as well as the blogs, our wedding was slowly coming together.

Ten months later, Daniel and I set off to Baja to pull the wedding together, see the venue for the first time, meet our suppliers and finally, get married!

Our wedding was more than I could have hoped for. It exceeded every hope or expectation we had, and every one of our 40 guests enjoyed every element of it.

The Sea of Cortez back drop, the amazing suppliers, the beautiful eco hotel occupied by only our family and friends and marrying the greatest guy I’ve ever known, made for the best day and week of my life.

If I could do it all over again, I would do it exactly the same – but this time I would hire a wedding planner instead of organizing the entire wedding on my own, over email from Australia!
